My Name and Blog:
You are probably wondering why my blog's name is Trinity Loves and if you aren't I'm going to tell you anyways. Trinity means The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit are one. So it's the Trinity and the Trinity Loves. My name Nity came from Trinity. Yep, that is where my mom got that odd name from. If Nity gets confusing to pronounce remember my name Nity sounds like Nighty, as in Nighty Night. Anyways, yes I am Christian and I am not afraid to show it. I hope that you will realize God the Father loves you! Even if the skies are gray and you cannot see the sun, that doesn't mean the sun isn't there. The sun will always be there shining brightly.
What if we all opened our eyes and realized God's love is always there shining constantly and nothing can take that away :D
Dealing with Pain:
I woke up to hear the sound of mourning. I usually would've ignored the sounds but for some reason I stayed up to listen. I heard my mother cry, "No, No, No!" through the tears. I kept hearing the word, "Her." I kept listening as I heard my parents go downstair. I quietly followed their footsteps and watched them leave the house through the back door. I watched as my parents picked up something and my mother begin crying hysterically. I looked to see what they were holding and through the tears in my eyes I saw my beloved cat Naomi. I suddenly began weeping. A few minutes later my mother came into the house and saw me trying run out of sight. She quietly said, "It's ok Nity, you don't have to hide." As I came into view my mother wailed, "Naomi's dead!"
Seeing her lifeless body was devastating. She was my little girl. Our cats are family now it feels like we will never be the same again. It feels like apart of our home has just been ripped away. She left the house at dusk and as she was making her way home for breakfast a person not paying attention to the road destroyed something that was so dear to me, and they left her there. She had a collar on, they knew she belonged to someone, it had our number they could've called, they could've moved her to the side of the road but they didn't. They just decided to leave her. They decided to let the owners of the cat wake up and find her lying in the middle of the road.
I know what you may be thinking, serves you right for letting your cats outside. Well my friend understand this, is it fair to keep something meant to be free cooped up inside all day. Like birds, birds are meant to fly and be free but people lock them up in cages, because they "love" them. If you truly loved something you'd set it free and let it do what it was meant to do, what it truly loves to do. That's why cats should be allowed outside.
We always use to call our cats back inside from our yard around dark. We never let them leave the house at night. They always stay in the yard or around our house. Naomi though doesn't go outside during the day though. This isn't the first time she ran out and didn't return, there have been several times she has done so. We have searched for her at night before but always after seeming to disappear during the night she would be home by morning for a meal.
This was our biggest fear of living in house so near a main road. It appears our nightmare came true.
I only wish that her last moments couldn't have been in her family's arms.
